Entrepreneurial Minds Forged on Campus
Through the “Entrepreneurial Brains Made on Campus” (EBMC) ideas competition, the Generator Startup Centre at the HdM has been promoting entrepreneurial thinking and action among students at European level since 2009.
The EBMC takes place annually in two phases: the national preliminary rounds at the HdM’s partner universities and the international final in Stuttgart, for which the winning teams from the preliminary rounds qualify.
In the preliminary rounds, students learn about various innovation tools from the methods of design thinking, lean startup and business modelling, and use these to develop innovative business ideas. In the final in Stuttgart, they work on new ideas in international teams.
In 2020, due to the current situation, the competition will take place online and without preliminary rounds. In November 2020, international teams will spend several weeks developing ideas in the field of social entrepreneurship and will ultimately present them as video pitches.
Any questions about the EBMC?
