EXIST-Women
Is there an entrepreneur inside you? Then you’ve come to the right place!
The EXIST-Women programme is aimed at women who are just starting out on their entrepreneurial journey. It’s not just about business plans, but above all about you: we’ll help you develop your entrepreneurial personality and get your initial idea ready for the market.
What makes this programme special is that you don’t need a fully formed, knowledge-based business idea to apply. All you need is the motivation to develop a business venture, and we’ll guide you through the ‘how’.
Who is this programme for?
We are looking for women with links to the university who are interested in a 12-month training programme (which can be undertaken alongside studies or work):
- Female students: Those with a bachelor’s degree or who have completed at least half of their coursework.
- Graduates: Even if you graduated more than five years ago.
- Female academics: From research and teaching.
- Women with vocational training: Provided there is a clear link to higher education.
Important: You must not have previously received start-up funding from the federal or state governments.
What can you expect from EXIST-Women?
The programme offers you a comprehensive, hassle-free package that allows you to explore your vision without any financial pressure:
- Training: Workshops on business models, pitching and leadership.
- Mentoring & coaching: Personal support from the HdM start-up network and experienced mentors.
- Community: Access to an exclusive regional and national network of female founders.
- Resources: A one-off grant of €2,000 for coaching, travel expenses or validating your idea (e.g. prototyping).
