Skills for Innovation
During the pilot phase, the Skills for Innovation (Ski-Fi) programme is intended to be open to all HdM undergraduate students who wish to develop their skills in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship. It helps them to select, from the wide range of courses, student projects and company placements on offer, those that foster innovation skills. At the same time, it ensures that students from all degree programmes receive ECTS credits for this through elective, import and credit transfer options. Participants thus develop an interdisciplinary specialisation in entrepreneurship alongside their main degree programme and can have this recognised on their transcript (certificate). The second phase will involve rolling out the programme to partner universities.
Skills for Innovation is intended to
- increase the visibility of entrepreneurship education programmes,
- bundle entrepreneurship courses with the relevant skills,
- involve all degree programmes and
- offer students a nationally recognised certificate with which they can demonstrate their innovation skills to future employers.
Skills for Innovation is funded by the Foundation for Innovation in Higher Education as part of the ‘Freiraum’ call for proposals. Duration: 1 September 2022 – 31 August 2023.
